world" foods and festivals. That certainly changes the flavor of
any neighborhood discussions, doesn't it? They invite visitors to
take a tour.
Let's first start with the downtown area. The warehouse district is
the oldest part of the city. But these older warehouses have been
converted into restaurants and residential areas. Another reason
for them to brag is The Historic Gateway project that is being
re-developed. The renewal project started in 1992 and they are
anxious to show off their accomplishments.
Tired of sightseeing and want a superb dining experience and a
little after dinner entertainment? No problem they assure you. The
East Fourth Entertainment district is where you should go take in
see a show, laugh at the Hilarities, or just sit sit and chat with
friends.
If you are the artsy sort and want to take in a play, go check out
Playhouse Square. They claim their theater district is the second
largest in the country. In all there are five restored buildings
where opera, ballet, and all kinds of musical concerts and
festivals take place at any time during the year.
