Gallopolis Ohio

Ohio is next to Kentucky and West Virginia one of the most beautiful states. Ohio sieht mein bei der Reise durch die USA. Of course you can also see other states.Travelers who are familiar with southern Ohio and the tri-state area of Kentucky, West Virginia, and Ohio, will be well acquainted with the Bob Evans restaurants. He passed on a few years ago, but his farm, and his first restaurant, is now a well visited museum. The Bob Evans Farm Homestead Museum is a favorite place to gather during the warmer months for festivals and other outings. In addition to the museum there is a craft barn, interesting activities at the restaurant, and many other activities. The farm is located on State Route 588, and is handicapped accessible.

Other unusual places to visit and thing to see and do in in the southern part of Ohio are Ross County's Tecumseh theater play. Each year, this outdoor theater, in the Sugarload Mountain forests, again brings alive the sago of this Indian Chief. Moving on: Pike County with towns such as such as Waverly, Bainbridge, are welcomed sites. But for campers, park your RV or car at their campsite. Take your pick, a cabin or a condo rental, a trailer hook-up -- primitive or electric -- and have some affordable summer fun. Tennis, basketball, volleyball, and softball sports are available as well as inside pool and video arcades.

While in this rural and farmland area, drive the back roads and view the sights. Watch the corn and pumpkins grow and hear the lawn mowers hum on weekend and expect to pass a few roadside yard sales and other unexpected happenings. Life is somewhat lazy around here in the summer time, or from the outside looking in, it seems that way. There are no Ohio big cites here, the nearest ones being a two to three drive to Cincinnati or Columbus. This is small town and rural living but it is a pleasant and friendly area.
